PlayableNotes in Claude

Attach sheet music in Claude and it reads it into a PlayableNotes score you can play, edit, arrange for a student and share as a practice link. Your scores are saved in your PlayableNotes account.

Set up PlayableNotes for me: https://playablenotes.com/claude/setup.txt

Claude sets it up. In Claude Code it installs the PlayableNotes plugin; in claude.ai and the Claude apps it walks you through adding the connector, which takes a minute. Either way you sign in with your PlayableNotes account, or make a free one.

Good to know

Claude reads the pages itself, one at a time, and PlayableNotes checks each page before saving it. Reading in Claude uses no PlayableNotes credits.

Claude reads most accurately with code execution turned on (Settings, Capabilities), so it can enlarge each line of music before reading it, and with Opus or Sonnet.
