Schumann editable production handoff — worked example

The delivered project has the whole right hand on vibraphone and the left hand on piano. In the revised project only the right-hand track volume changes from 100 to 50: half amplitude, approximately −6.02 dB. It includes chords and inner notes, not just a melody. All 303 performed note events remain unchanged. This is a requested example revision, not a preferred or improved mix.

OPEN IN LMMS 1.2.2
1. In LMMS Settings, find your LMMS working directory. This is your own working directory, not necessarily the folder containing an .mmp file.
2. Copy this package's samples/pn-schumann-handoff folder into that working directory's samples folder. Keep the folder name and TimGM6mb.sf2 filename unchanged.
3. Open projects/schumann-delivered.mmp or projects/schumann-upper-half.mmp. Both native saves refer to pn-schumann-handoff/TimGM6mb.sf2 through LMMS's user-samples directory. They do not use paths relative to the project file.
4. If the SoundFont is missing in your installation, use the SoundFont player's file button on BOTH Right hand and Left hand to select the included TimGM6mb.sf2. Preserve RH patch 11, LH patch 0, bank 0, instrument gain 1, reverb/chorus off. Save your own copy.

TESTED SCOPE
These exact project bytes loaded and rendered using native LMMS 1.2.2 in a different, isolated working directory after installing the bundled samples there. OS file-open records confirmed that relocated SoundFont was loaded. This is a tested installation/relink handoff, not a zero-setup or universal cross-version portability promise. The original and revised projects were genuinely saved through the LMMS GUI. The later recipient test used the native command-line loader/render engine.

FILES AND LEVELS
audio/native contains complete unmodified native float32 stereo 44.1 kHz WAV exports: two mixes, two upper parts and the shared piano-bass part. The bass was byte-identical in both projects. Both upper parts were exported by native LMMS from temporary export-only copies with the LH muted; the delivered project files were not edited for this operation. Notes occupy 72 seconds; each WAV is 74.994648526 seconds including decay. Do not independently normalize these files if preserving the demonstrated balance.
audio/listening contains smaller lossy 192 kbps MP3 references with the same +12 dB playback gain on both full mixes. Native WAVs have no such added gain. MP3 container duration includes encoder padding; gapless decoding produces the complete native duration.
midi contains the checked complete MIDI. sources contains the original and checked piano notation plus original engraving source. This example was prepared in development. Separate-hand and meter-aware MIDI export is now available in production. MIDI export is from PlayableNotes; instrument assignment, revision and rendering are from LMMS.

TIMING AND LIMITS
20 written bars plus the opening repeat give 24 performed bars, 96 quarter beats at 80 BPM, 4/4. The opening two bars occupy 0–6 seconds; the whole piece and decay remain available. No listening, aesthetic, customer or learning approval is asserted. Copyright/licence notices are in licenses/.
