Schumann MIDI arrangement: source and method

A worked demonstration. Schumann’s Mélodie, Op.68 No.1: genuine five-credit development reading → checked version → actual browser download from the development MIDI exporter → real LMMS import and native project saves.

The same complete four bars, at 80 BPM

Both hands: acoustic piano

RH: vibraphone · LH: acoustic piano

The whole right-hand layer changes instrument, including its dyads and inner voice. Every pitch, onset and duration stays intact. Both excerpts use the same fixed +12 dB gain; instrument patch levels remain native. A 10 ms fade ends the 12-second boundary.

Native projects and complete renders

The soundfont path in these projects points to the installed TimGM6mb.sf2. No synthetic replacement audio was substituted.

Source and correction burden

20 written bars; first four repeated, giving 24 performed bars and 72 seconds at 80 BPM. All 303 imported events match the publisher reference exactly: 118 RH and 185 LH. No import timing quantization occurs for this quarter/eighth-note piece.
